Experience an interesting, fun afternoon exploring how creativity, science and the brain can work together through an arts and social spectrum as we age.
This event will be of interest to the public, artists, creatives and those working in the arts, scientists, psychologists, students and people who are the fun side of fifty.
This event is a partnership between the Whelan Lab at Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience, Creative Life at the Mercer’s Institute for Successful Ageing, St James’s Hospital, and the Global Health Brain Institute, Trinity College Dublin.

THE
The Creative Life pillar promotes and integrates an inclusive arts and creativity programme as we age as one of the pillars within the Mercer’s Institute for Successful Ageing (MISA). This programme develops participatory arts, art education, arts performances and art making platforms through a collaborative process with our arts partnerships, to engage patients, their carers, staff and the community.

The Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience (TCIN) is a Trinity Research Institute encompassing a wide range of disciplines including Psychology, Psychiatry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Medicine, Biochemistry, Engineering, and Genetics. The Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) is a leader in the global community dedicated to protecting the world’s aging populations from threats to brain health. GBHI works to reduce the scale and impact of dementia in three ways: by training and connecting the next generation of leaders in brain health through the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health program; by collaborating in expanding prevention and interventions; and by sharing knowledge and engaging in advocacy.
